The Kissing Booth

I couldn't let Valentine’s Day Pass without paying homage to our lovely vintage style Kissing Booth. It's a great excuse to plant a kiss on the cheek of your nearest and dearest & take a snap while you’re at it.

Here’s a pic of the one we made for a wedding at the Hawksmoor Restaurant in London. We painted it(at the Bride’s request) in black and white stripes to match the chequered dance floor and 1920s theme!

Virgin Media took a shine to it and used it for a ‘Kiss-as-you-go’ PR event, so we painted it in Virgin ‘lickable’ red (as they call it!).


I’m absolutely dying for a Bride to ask us to cover it in flowers, wouldn’t that be wonderful!

 Part of a range of vintage ‘Village Fete’ props that we have for hire, it gets wedding and party guests into the swing of things and will make for some memorable photos. We build the photobooths ourselves, so can create a bespoke one just for you.

The booth comes with a dressing up box of vintage goodies and has interchangable signs such as: Kissing Booth, Punch & Judy,Photobooth. We can even make a personalised sign, just for you!

We can paint the booth to match your theme or adorn it in flowers, bunting or pom poms. We can supply a 'speech bubble' chalkboard, gilt frames, curtain back drop and even a Polaroid camera or photographer.

Our little company, Saffron Vintage Hire & Events, supplies all manner of vintage props and crockery to brides, party planners, photographers, retailers, corporate companies, tv and film. We can also help with styling and event management. This blog shares our vintage style and life online.
